More than 15 years into restoration work — the halfway mark for the original Everglades restoration plan — the National Academies of Sciences predicts the job will take another 100 years to complete at the current pace. That’s the backdrop for an upcoming Tallahassee battle over a $2.4 billion reservoir considered critical to reviving the system.
